Maya Sanches

Maya Sanches is a 2015 Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Journalism and minors in Public Relations and German. Within journalism, Maya specializes in sports reporting and broadcasting. Maya was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and her first language is Portuguese, but she has been fluent in English since she was three years old. While at MSU, Maya worked at The State News, covering Olympic sports and women's basketball, and at WKAR, as a camera operator, floor director, assistant producer and grip for sets. Maya is now a reporting intern at HOMTV and is very excited to improve her skills and start her career as a broadcast journalist. Her goal is to become a sideline reporter and anchor for a sports network.
