Amanda Chodnicki

Amanda Chodnicki is now a senior at Michigan State University, majoring in political science and journalism with a specialization in electronic news. Amanda is currently a visual collegiate correspondent for USA TODAY College, anchor/reporter for the government-access station HOMTV and anchor/reporter for MSU's student-run newscast Focal Point. Previously, she was an intern in the newsroom at FOX 2 WJBK in Detroit, where she got to experience a big market for the first time. In the past, Amanda also interned with WLNS-TV 6, Shelby TV and Oakland University's WXOU Radio. She was also a writer for MSU's student-run paper The State News and an online magazine MSU Her Campus. Her love for news and the world of journalism has urged her to get as much experience in the field as she possibly can. She is excited to experience even more over the course of her last year at MSU.
