CATA Board of Directors Meeting Discuss Redi-Ride Initiatives

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The CATA Board of Directors held a meeting at the Meridian Township Municipal Building on February 21. This is the first CATA Board of Directors meeting held in Meridian Township in an effort to reach its residents.

Items discussed included plans to make Redi-Ride services more accessible to residents in the City of Lansing, East Lansing and Meridian Township.

"I mean, the ultimate goal is to provide the highest quality service that improves the riders experience and the accessibility of places they want to get. I think its great that the Meridian Township Board asked to expand CATA Redi-Ride service to five new locations. I think it's terrific that the authority had that service up and running so quickly," said Nathan Triplett, Chair of the CATA Board of Directors.

Redi-Ride services have been expanded to five new locations, including the Meijer in Bath, Costco and the East Lansing Aquatic Center in effort to make commutes more resident friendly and provide high quality service.
