High Caliber Karting Selected As Established Business of the Year

MERIDIAN, MI - The 2020 Established Business of the Year Award was given to High Caliber Karting & Entertainment, located in the Meridian Mall.

The award was presented on behalf of the Meridian Township Economic Development Corporation, as well as the Meridian Area Business Association.

High Caliber was recognized for its innovative advanced technology and placemaking and propensity to include the community, among other reasons.

When asked about the award in an interview with HOMTV, co-founder and president Jordan Munsters said, “This Township is full of wonderful people, and I’m very grateful for what we’ve gotten. People in the Township have been very receptive to us, they’ve been very supportive of us...and what we create here is something that is badly needed in society.”

High Caliber describes themselves as “founded by three fun-loving and business-minded friends...who believe everyday should begin with excitement and determination”. While opened as a cart track in September 2019, High Caliber now offers a variety of entertainment activities, including carting, axe throwing and rage rooms, with plans to increase in the future.

“It’s stuff that’s fun...if we find something that we enjoy, we have a pretty good theory that other people are going to enjoy it...it’s just things that we have a lot of fun with, and friends of ours have a lot of fun with,” Munsters added.

High Caliber is also in the midst of a 25,000 sq. foot renovation, with plans for the expansion including indoor archery and nerf arenas, fun spins on bowling games, additional space for axe throwing, as well as a fully-stocked bar. Current plans have the project set to be completed by as early as September.
