OKEMOS, MI - A building on Grand River Avenue is swapping pepperoni and cheese for eggs and toast. A new Anna’s House is under construction and will be taking the place of a former Pizza Hut.
Meridian Township Economic Development Director Ken Lane estimates a fall opening due to COVID-19.
“They wanted to be open this Summer,” said Lane. “They got started and had to stop. There was a two and a half month period where they were unable to work due to the stay-at-home orders.”
Anna’s House has been issued a remodeling permit. A fall opening is predicted but is to be determined depending on COVID-19 setbacks.
