Township Board Discusses Residential Property Requests Along Hagadorn Road

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the January 7th Township Board Meeting, the Board discussed the rezoning of five parcels of approximately 2.2 acres located at five residential properties on Hagadorn Road.

Township Director of Community Planning and Development, Mark Kieselbach, updated the Board on this rezoning will influence these parcel areas in accordance to the 2017 Future Land Use Map.

"The Planning Commission tried a rezoning of this, and at the time, the property owners came out and were against the rezoning because they thought they were more valuable," said Director Kieselbach.

Throughout the meeting, Board Members discussed possible outcomes that could potentially influence these parcel areas.

The Board voted to approve these residential property changes along Hagadorn Road.
