MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On Saturday November 13th, the ice skating supply shop; A Skaters Dream, had a small event where local skate clubs could raise money by selling their old ice skates and skate clothing. The shop itself, run by Bobbie Plattenberg, offers customers help in ice skate fitting as well as blade sharpening. The main goal of the skate swap was to help outfit new skaters in preparation for the coming winter.
