UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Eastgate Park built a bicycle track last summer, and now they are looking to expand on it. With the help of the Michigan Mountain Biking Association, Eastgate may install a skills course that is attached to the one-year-old pump track.

The purpose of a pump track is to maneuver over the bumps and berms as many times as possible while pedaling is kept to a minimum. The new addition would add things like rocky terrains, log jumps, and skinny log rides.

They are waiting on approval from the Parks Commission.
