WILLIAMSTON - Brussel sprouts. Every elementary school aged child's favorite food...right?

Unfortunately, for many parents, healthy eating doesn't come easy. Even while students are at school.

Legislation changes made in 2012 make it so kids have to cut back on condiments, and add protein and veggies to their plate.

However...kids will be kids. Just because they're picking it up in the lunch line, doesn't mean they're willing to try new foods.

Exploring the new-rules and how they are implemented led me to Williamston Community Schools. Take a look at how their program is run below.
