The Red Cedar River goes into the Grand River...and the Grand River eventually leads to Lake Michigan.

Did you also know that our everyday life can affect the aquatic ecosystems in our watershed?

Waste from our yards and our pets can trickle off into our watershed and contaminate the environment.

Pesticides and fertilizers in yard waste can accelerate algae bloom in the water and use up all the oxygen in the water.

Pet waste can also be harmful to the wildlife as well.

Please be mindful of the environment and mind the watershed!
