HASLETT - Haslett volleyball started their season on the road but this past week has their first home game facing Mason. Haslett varsity volleyball faced Mason in tournament play earlier this month and lost in the regional finals. They hoped to redeem themselves on Wednesday with a win at home.

During match one, senior Molly Freund was a brickwall, she blocked Mason hitters 3 times during the match. They look the L in match one, but looking hopeful in match two, Sarah Schmid-Cummins killed the ball down the line.

It came down to shutting down Mason senior and Western Michigan commit Willow Martin and the Vikings just could not do it. Whether she was hitting down the line or in the middle of the court, Haslett struggled to get to the ball.

The Vikings fell short and lost 3 matches to the Mason Bulldogs, resorting in a game loss.
