MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - 2012 is bringing some major changes to four of Meridian Township's major businesses. Meijer, Kroger, Walmart, and Target are all looking at multi-million dollar re-developments in the next year. "I think it's a good indication that they want to keep these stores viable," said Mark Kieselbach, Director of Community Planning and Development for Meridian Township. Target will be the second store in the state to receive what the corporation is referring to as a "P-Fresh" remodel. "It will be very extensive, expanding in all categories of food," said Joel Trim, the Executive Team Leader for Target. Target will begin the redevelopment in December.
