MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Residents came out to the Meridian Historical Village on December 8th for an old fashioned "Christmas in the Village."

Historic buildings were opened and decorated while volunteers dressed up in old fashioned clothing and shared some of the old Christmas traditions.

A volunteer expressed his appreciation for the Meridian Historical Village,"It's a beautiful part of our local history and we gotta thank the friends of historic Meridian and Meridian Township for allowing our community to have this beautiful village," said Brad Brogren.

During the event, children were able to sing Christmas carols and visit with Santa.
