OKEMOS - The East Lansing Film Festival will screen more than 70 films including box office blockbusters, film festival winners, and american indies.

ELFF continues to be Michigan’s largest film festival, and started Nov. 6 and continues until Nov.15, This year the festival is celebrating its 16th year of bringing in independent films.

"Its been going very very well, especially since we started a new wrinkle in the film festival, and were showing films simultaneously right here at studio C in Okemos," said director and founder of ELFF, Susan W. Woods.

ELFF is home to many film competitions where people can submit a variety of work, from features to documentaries, short films, and seminars.

Visiting directors from all over come together to discuss their films during the film festival, and the films are being showed at Studio C! In Okemos, and at Wells Hall, on Michigan State University’s campus.
