UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Haslet/Okemos Rotary Club recently held it's Hero Luncheon which drew large groups and numbers of people to the Marsh Road Outback Steakhouse for the annual fundraising event.

"It's been a wonderful event, we've had great support from our community leaders here, we have township uhh supervisors, uhh we have all the local celebrities and business owners here in the area and its been great support," said Dr Christine Tenaglia, Chair person for the luncheon

The event was made possible by the generous efforts and contributions from various organizations in the Lansing area and the Meridian township
