UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The new board recently voted 7-0 in favor of a special use permit for Anytime Fitness, located on Haslett and Okemos Road. The gym is a part of a nationwide chain that advertises the benefits of twenty four hour access.

"What they said and typically these fitness centers are open later hours or sometime 24 hours, is to make an amendment so that if you wanted to be open past midnight, then you could ask for a special use permit to extend your hours," commented Mark Kieselbach the Director of Community Planning and Development of Meridian Township.
