New Police Department Addition

New Police Department Addition

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Purchased a month ago and sent out to be fitted with equipment, the new police cruiser, the Police Interceptor is ready to hit the streets.

The Ford model underwent a makeover, the arm rest doubles as a printer, the computer system is hooked up and the trunk has been stocked with medical supplies.

Lieutenant Frenger commented on the new acquisition, “There’s a few modifications, differences between this and the Taurus as far as the suspensions go, the rear doors open further than they would in a normal passenger car. They allow handcuffed prisoners in and out easier. Some of the electronics are set up differently to accommodate the electronics in the car.”

The new cruiser has already been making rounds and so far has had no problems.
