EAST LANSING - On Monday, July 13th, the Meridian Township Planning Commission met to discuss Rezoning #20040 Michigan Baptist Convention at 4606 Hagadorn Road in East Lansing. Commissioner David Premoe filed a motion to rezone Michigan Baptist Convention from Rural Residential to Professional and Office.
Commissioner Peter Trezise told the Planning Commission that they approved the nine month time limit, but the development lapsed and it never went through. There is a church on the property. The project is a buffer between the offices and apartments on Hagadorn Road and a buffer between neighborhoods. It is a straight forward rezoning, says Trezise
The Planning Commission passed the motion. It will now go forward to the Township Board.
