Township Sidewalk Repairs

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Township Board recently approved the Order to Maintain Sidewalks at the February 7th meeting.

Following the approval, the Township will now hire a contractor to complete the repairs and maintenance of the selected areas of sidewalks.

Notices will be sent out to residents the affected areas, who will then have 20 days to notify the township of whether they will complete the repairs themselves, or use the contractor selected by the township.

Raymond Severy, Director of Public Works and Engineering, said residents who use the contractor provided by the township will not be billed until June of 2013.
