Haslett High School Kicks Off the School Year with a New Field

HASLETT, MI - On Tuesday, September 3rd, Haslett High School hosted an Open House to invite the Haslett community to walk on their new turf field at the Jamie Gent Stadium.

Cammy Hopp, a student from Haslett High School, attended the Open House to take photos for the yearbook and shared that the new field will help their football and soccer players with their season games.

The Open House took place from 3 pm to 4:15 pm prior to the Boys JV & Varsity soccer games against Lansing Catholic.

Phase one of the Haslett High School’s Bond and Sinking Fund projects approved by Haslett voters in August 2018 included upgrades to Jamie Gent Stadium. The new multi-use turf playing surface, team rooms, concession building, remodeled press box, scoreboard, sound system and more was completed in August 2019.
