Cable Communications Commission
The five-member appointed Commission advises the Township Board on matters related to cable communications, and oversees the franchise agreement between the Township and any franchised video operator(s). The Commission also is responsible for an annual budget derived from franchise fee payments from the cable company to the Township. Use of this budget is restricted to services which directly benefit local cable subscribers. The Commission may also hear formal complaints by residents against the local cable operator.
