MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - After a 7 year separation, Baskin Robbins has returned to the Lansing area, specifically in Meridian Township. The new location is at 1917 West Grand River, in a plaza just east of Marsh Road.

Baskin Robbins is famous for their 31 flavors, which come as ice cream, sorbets, custards, yogurts and non-dairy options. Ice cream toppings are abundant and numerous cone types are available to hold a frozen confection. They are also equipped for a party and carry pre-made ice cream cakes and candles.

Business has been booming upon opening as residents rush to find their favorite flavor. "It's been awhile since there's been one in the area, so as soon as everyone found out there's just been hordes of people coming in," store manager Mari Garry said.

Baskin Robbins will host their official grand opening event on June 2, from 12pm-4pm.
