EAST LANSING - Dr. Michael Eric Dyson gave a free public lecture on Thursday, February 1st, in celebration of Black History Month.

In the presentation, Dr. Dyson spoke about his life from growing up in Detroit to attending Prinston University, the current state of politics, and living in "The United States of Amnesia." 

Guests found that the lecture had something for all ages to relate to, and that Dr. Dyson "has a very interesting speaking ability to connect different conversations."
