This will be on site at the Meridian Historical Village Central Park, configuring to be 720 square feet.

Meridian Garden Club Chair of Plant it Pink Committee, Sue Nieland, said this project has been in the works for over a year now.

But now, the project is underway in part with the new Meridian Township Master plan.

"This project is meant to provide reflective spaces within the community for people with breast cancer and survivors of the disease," Nieland said. "So it is our goal to have a pink garden and pink three seasons of the year."

The garden will present a mix of trees and of course, flowers, shrubs and plants of various pink shades.
