Haslett Capitalizes on Second Half
Comeback, 2-1, over Lansing Catholic

HASLETT - The seedings in Tuesday afternoon's CAAC Gold Cup pairing looked to be misleading as two seed Haslett hosted seven seed Lansing Catholic, a team the Vikings had lost to, 2-0, in the regular season. Down, 1-0, headed into the second half, it was not long for this game to turn upside down as Haslett's Shin Nishimura and Munir Sherali scored back-to-back goals within four minutes of each other.

Senior day for the Vikings became a team effort as the boys dominated time of possession for the remainder of the half, keeping the ball primarily in the Lansing Catholic zone.
