A New Home for Spartan Dance & Fit
Center

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Spartan Dance & Fit Center is one step closer to opening up its brand new facility.

A crowd gathered on Friday, June 17th to watch a ribbon cutting ceremony and welcome Spartan Dance & Fit to its new location in the Carriage Hills shopping center at Lake Lansing and Hagadorn Roads.

The facility will occupy part of the former C&H Marketplace, which offers more space than the Center’s current location near Lake Lansing and Abbot.

As owner Tiffany Russell explained, “everything is more than tripled in size. We’re currently in around 3,000 square feet, and this space is 13,000 square feet.”

The move to a larger space will allow Spartan Dance & Fit to accommodate a growing number of students and programs. Russell noted that “we’ve outgrown two studio spaces with the addition of our adult fitness program, and more students, and our company,”

The new development will feature six studios, a group fitness center, a children’s play zone, two state-of-the-art locker rooms with spa components, a music room, and amenities such as a juice bar and teen tech area. The center is expected to be open for adult fitness classes at the start of August.

Spartan Dance Center has served the East Lansing community since 2010, providing a variety of dance, fitness, and wellness programs for both adults and children. A grand opening to celebrate the new facility is scheduled for August 12 and 13.
