Culver's Supports Meridian Township Fireworks Celebration

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Culver's was able to donate $700 to the Fireworks Celebration this year.

ORIGINAL STORY: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Culver's of Okemos, located off Marsh Road, has once again shown its commitment to Meridian Township by holding their annual fundraiser for the Meridian Township 4th of July fireworks.

"We've been doing this event for several years. It's awesome for the community to come out and support us, and in return we get to give back to them a little bit and make sure we put on a good show and help Meridian Township with their fireworks show," said Culver's Assistant Manager Chris Rall.

All day on June 24th, Culver's will be donating 5% of their sales to the fireworks celebration. Last year, Culver's donated about $600, and Rall says they hope to be able to donate even more this year.

Rall added, "Everyone loves fireworks. Especially our owner Cory (Chvala), he's a huge fan of it."

The fireworks celebration is scheduled to take place at 10pm on Saturday, July 4th. The fireworks will be launched from Central Park South.
