OKEMOS - Okemos Public Schools hosted their 32nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Thursday February 12th. During the event, we spoke with Josie Shaprio and her father Erik Shaprio about their experience.

Once they finished hanging up their coats, Eirk and Joise's first stop was at the photographers to get their picture taken.

After, Josie reunited with her friends be for entering the gym to take on the dance floor.

Josie said she enjoyed may things from the night. Her father Erik also had a great time and shared with us what his favorite moment of the night was.

"My favorite moment of the night was as we were walking in my daughter Josie saw a whole bunch of her friends and ran over to them and completely left me, but I was super happy that her friends were here."

When asked about if the night was was attached to any significance with Valentines's day, Mr. Shaprio said no, it was just about being able to take his daughter out on a date.

This was the third time Joise and Erik Shaprio attend the Daddy Daughter Dance and Josie said she's looking forward to going again next year.
