MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - After the holidays, don’t throw your Christmas Tree in the trash. Real Christmas Trees are biodegradable, which means they can be easily reused or recycled for mulch and other purposes.

Before dropping your tree off, please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, and other non-organic decorative materials. This includes tree stands. And the tree must not be put in a plastic bag.

This year's Christmas Tree drop-off location in Meridian Township is at Nancy Moore Park Parking Lot.

Trees may be dropped off from December 26th to January 31st.
