EAST LANSING - The 11th Annual Money Ball Pro Am summer basketball league is currently in full swing at Aim High Sports Complex.

The tournament, which is sponsored by Money Ball Sports Wear, aims to foster community relationships by providing a positive form of recreation and entertainment.

The league features many current collegiate basketball players and even some current professionals.

Along with helping the community, the Spartans use the tournament as an opportunity to become better players.

"It really helps," said MSU Captain Travis Trice. "Its another chance to play. Any time you get to go against guys you're not used to playing against and a different look at competition it really helps. Its really helping our freshmen because its speed up that process for them."

Other Spartans playing in the tournament include Denzel Valentine, Kenny Kaminksi, and Matt Costello.

Gary Harris and Draymond Green have also made appearances with Green even suiting up for a few games.

Admission to the games is free to the public and they will take place every Tuesday and Thursday until August 7th at Aim High Sports Complex.
