Have Been Selected

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Finalists for Township Manager Search:

Darnell Early - City Manager of Saginaw

Paul Brake - City Manager of Grand Blanc

Frank Walsch - City Manager of St. Joseph, MI

Jim Creech - Township Manager of Oakland Charter Township

The Michigan Municipal League received a total of 21 applications, 5 of those from out of state.

Those who applied were required to have 10 years of experience, 5 of those as an administrator, and a Master’s Degree.

Brett Dreyfus, Township Clerk, said those who applied are the best of the best.

"Since it is a desirable position the interest level is high and probably we are going to attract top caliber personnel here... a top quality manager with all the various skill sets that we are looking for," he said.

The Township Board met in a closed session March 1st to look over the resumes. They have selected the four candidates to appear before the board on March 16th at 11am in Open Session. The public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
