• The Okemos boys' team accepts their regional trophy.

BRIGHTON, MI - Okemos met at the Mt. Brighton Ski Hill in Brighton for their Regional Championship meet on Thursday.

Led by great performances from senior Carson Covell an sophomore Trey VanWieren, the Chiefs were a surprise winner of the regional trophy by taking third overall in the slalom event and first place in the giant slalom.

Individually, Covell took fourth place in both events while VanWieren took sixth and seventh respectively.
