You'd have to go to Detroit to find them, you'd have to go to Chicago to find them. So it is a unique experience and we're really excited to bring it to Okemos," said Steve VanWagoner, Celebration Cinema's Vice President.

"It'll be something totally different than whats out now. And yeah I'm really looking forward to that," said Carol Christensen, Okemos resident.

All the excitement is about the new Studio C, the new movie theatre being built by Celebration Cinema. It will be where the former AMC 6 was in the Meridian Mall.

"Studio C is our experiment. We want this to be sort of a laboratory entertainment venue," said VanWagoner.

Guests will have service right at their fingertips.

You'll be able to order your ticket online, come to the theater, go right to your seat, push a button, we'll come in and take your order," said VanWagoner

The new Studio C in Okemos will of course have your standard popcorn and pop, but it will also offer dinner, that you can order from a menu.

The theater will also be geared towards an older crowd, from age 23 and up, which some moviegoers appreciate.

"I like the idea that they're gonna aim it more for adults, not having the little ones around. I'm looking forward to it, I'm really excited," said Christensen

It may even become a hot spot for couples.

You got a place you want to bring your date, we will be become the date experts right here at studio C in Meridian Mall, that's for sure," said VanWagoner.
