MDHHS Request Proposals for Gambling Disorder Helpline and Treatment Services

LANSING - The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is seeking grant applications to help Michigan residents with gambling disorders.

A gambling disorder helpline and treatment service program was previously set up to provide crisis assessment, intervention, treatment referral and outpatient counseling services to individuals and their families.

Grant applications must be submitted electronically by 3 pm. on Aug. 4, 2021.

Funded applicants will receive assistance from the MDHHS project coordinator including reporting requirements, help starting the program and barrier guidelines to program implementation.

The award period for approved applicants begins Oct. 1, 2021 and will end Sept. 30, 2022.
