HASLETT, MI - The Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club hosted their annual Golf Outing Monday June 21, 2021 at Meridian Sun Golf Club. The event was organized by the Haslett-Okemos Rotary club to support charitable causes locally and worldwide.

The event began with breakfast, then moved to an 18-hole scramble. 19 teams were involved this year and played to support charitable causes.

A 50/50 raffle was held after the golfers returned and prizes were handed out for the biggest accomplishments of the day.

“Our motto is service above self, so what we always try to do is think about what will have impact in our community and also across the world,” President of Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club, Marna Wilson said, “So, we here at Haslett-Okemos Rotary support local projects in Meridian Township, and in addition we support national projects.”

There are 88,000 Rotary Clubs around the world. The Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club works as a nonprofit organization, partnering with sponsors to help the community. Delta Dental was a main sponsor in this year’s golf outing event.
