UPDATE: LANSING - iMichigan Productions premiered the Michigan Experience: The American Civil War Years on November 9th in Lansing.

It was the first in a series of four programs which focuses on Michigan's significant role in the Civil War.

Rodney Brown, one of the Producers of the Michigan Experience said, "we're education based. We're learners and we're educators. The point is to get people to learn more about Michigan's history because Michigan was heavily involved in the war."

The American Civil War Years" will be airing on every Michigan PBS station this November.
